Click the first option “Prepare document…” This will pop up a new window that will ask you to set your canvas size, also it will ask what layers you want, Tick the boxes of what you need. First thing you need to do is in Inkscape on the top bar click on extensions when scroll down to SVG2Shenzhen, It will give you 2 options to click on. I couldn’t really find much documentation on how to use the extension after you install it.
Follow the installation instruction on the Gihub page for your OS version. Next download the version you need from their Github page (i.e Windos/linux/OSX). The first thing you need to do is install Inkscape version 1.x because it wont work with versions lower then 1.x. The only problem I faced was getting the shape of the PCB because I wanted it in the shape of a pumpkin. I wanted to do a solder kit with my daughter and she suggested to find a Halloween one but I couldn’t find one anywhere.
